  The front office is rude. My wife and I are both patients there. My bride fired this place a year ago, but I decided to stay. I am officially leaving as a patient today. I called to set an appointment for my 10 year old and they wouldn't take him until July because he is a "new patient". He is on the same insurance as my wife and I. We are established patients. He's 10 for heaven's sake. On top of that, the person on the phone, was actually pretty cold and rude about this fact and really didn't care. Quite sad really. I am officially looking for a new dermatologist. My son has an appointment with his pediatrician now to look at the issue. An acceptable response could have easily gone something like this, "I'm sorry, but we can't get him in until July due to him 'technically' being a new patient, but let me talk to the Dr. Wood to see if she will make an exception due to you being established and his father and I will call you within twenty-four hours." At least at that point, a parent feels like you care about their child. I just feel like a medical record now. Thanks, but no thanks. There are plenty other solid doctors out there who treat patients with respect and compassion.
